Today is the last day of recipes. This is the Slimmed Down Shamrock Shake. I was excited to use fresh mint from my garden. The recipe also included spinach, vanilla, banana and protein powder. It tasted very minty and good. If I had added a handful of chocolate chips to the blender for the last few seconds, I think it would have tasted like mint chocolate chip ice cream! There wasn’t a lot of this shake and after a 5 mile morning bike ride, I was hungry again by 9:00. I had a small serving of nuts and made it through the rest of the morning.
